I welcome the credit bureaus giving me a copy of my report free without my having to have been denied credit first. Or, going to one of those freecreditreport.com type services (which is a misnomer since it isn't really free.) Since so much of a consumer's life depends on the information in this report - it shouldn't be such a mystery.
