Submission Text
Thank you for proposing this settlement. I wonder if it goes far enough to assuage my concerns and get me to return to Facebook. I left specifically because of the privacy concerns and Facebook's 1) demonstrated contempt for user privacy, data; and 2) thoroughly unfaithful representation of their policies; and 3) constant changing of policies; and 4) lax and possibly complicit security issues regarding the application API and user privacy.
At a minimum I hope to add my support to this proposal. I hope if any amendments are filed for it, they are more restrictive to further control Facebook's misuse of user data, images and so on: I believe 30 days after account deletion is unacceptable. The technology exists to immediately terminate and delete all such data; to not do so simply represents further opportunity to inappropriately and without permission allow access or distribution of such content.
