Comments:
I think the energy guide label is very useful to consumers. Unfortunately, the only apparent way to access the label data is to be standing in front of a given appliance. For consumers seeking efficient appliances, it's a waste of time and fuel driving around town to gather this data. There should be a publicly-accessible database or website that allows the energy guide label data to be obtained quickly and efficiently. For example, if you were searching for a water heater, you could access and review the data for many models at one time. Given the technology available today, I'm shocked that this is not currently in-place.
