I have been consulting to the Australian government on energy labeling since the late 1970s. I contributed to the design of the orginal label in the 1980s and redesinged it in the late 1990s. I am currently doing further work on various labeling matter, including a further (and minor) redesign, for Shane Holt of the Australian Greenhouse Office.
