I’m renting a computer from Aaron’s in Alexandria Virginia; actually this is my second computer because the first one I lost. However, I did not have to pay for it because they were able to prove that I did not have it. I don’t know if they ever got it back, all I know is they did get a picture from the webcam and it was not me. Now I’m concerned with loosing this one or having it stolen and not being to recover or prove I don’t have it. The GM tells me this is all because some idiot spied on a customer. What a fool, or what a foolish thing to do. But it doesn’t seem fair to enact such restrictions. I Goggled around and I can purchase the same software on the Internet from several vendors but why should I? I had this free as part of my rental contract. As long as I agree to the terms don’t you think that is my decision to make and not yours? Make Aaron’s get in writing that they have all this stuff loaded. Make them NOT use it unless they have a police report, or my permission. If they violate that, then put them in jail, but don’t stop me from protecting my property. Make them put a sticker on it too if you want, but in the end, I’m just going to pay for it out of my own pocket but it seems sill that I now should have too.
