I absolutely unequivocally oppose widening debt collectors ability to contact your family and friends after you die. Debt collectors in this country are absolutely out of control already. Debt collection is one of the most disgraceful occupations that exists in our country, and it's not due to the nature of business, but rather due to the way they have been able to manipulate the laws over the years to their favor. They need tighter regulations. Period.
