This is the purpose of PROBATE. Do NOT let these abusive collectors invade the sanctity of a grieving family, who may not be thinking straight - given their circumstances. The 3rd party collection agency business is a pariah on our society. You should be STRICTER, rather than more lenient on these bottom feeders - have you not read your OWN papers on the 'broken' debt collection industry???? The FTCs general lack of enforcement of the FDCPA, except for an occasional press release, already makes it appear that this government agency (ie - TAXPAYER/CITIZEN funded!!!) is 'in the back pocket' of the ACA and other debt collection lobby! DO THE RIGHT THING!
