I think rules concerning deceased family contact by collectors should be tightened not loosened. More often than not the families deceased are not legally responsible for the deceased debt. Collectors are harassing grieving families over debt that could and should be handled in the estates probate. Do not allow changes in the FDCPA that would give collectors "Carte Blanche" to harass families. If anything the FDCPA needs to be update to prevent deceased collections unless the family members is a co-signer or guarantor.
