Comments:
I strongly feel that the Federal Government is taking the right direction by allowing one FREE credit report from each of the three reporting Bureaus. Furthermore, I feel that for a consumer to have a credit report without a 'credit score' attached, or made available, at the same time, gives them an incomplete picture of where they stand. Simply, credit reports should also include a report both explaining and showing the persons' credit score, and, without cost once each calendar year. With both personal and credit card debt rising all the time, job stability ever more uncertain, and identity theft on the rise, merely paying your bills each month does not assure anyone the proper credit score required for major purchases such as a car or home mortgage. Consumer be aware!
