Comments:The credit reporting agencies are already reaping sufficient profit from the vendors who process our credit worthiness--for purchases, for leases, for borrowing, etc. We pay those vendors large credit fees. Our personal requests, in order to protect ourselves from identity incursions, should be gratis. There is no special cost to the agencies, given that they make the calculations of a credit score for our vendors already. They simply do not need nor warrant a windfall profit from this duplication of service.
