I do not feel that it should cost consumers anything to receive a report once per year. I feel that is it a right for each consumer to understand their own credit standing, and be able to make changes when necessary. I hear the the credit bureau companies are going to do mass mailings to people by month of credit bureau reports anyway, minimizing their cost and logistics of individuals requesting the reports separately. Regardless of charging consumers separately, these CBR providers will charge banks and finance companies higher rates when reports are requested, which will be passed to consumers anyway as they apply for loans, credit cards, and other financial products. No reason to penalize consumers for providing them with their own information. Thank you
