I got set up with Qwest and the guy I talked to on the cell phone who represented their company when he signed me up said my first bill would be about $78 but I would get a $54.68 refund. I couldn't afford it otherwise and I wouldn't have agreed to their service without the refund. But because of what their phone rep told me I agreed. Now I've been told that the guy I talked to was wrong and their money back guarantee of 30 days is only for internet service. $77 for a phone bill that's ludicrous. I told them I'm on a fixed income because of disability status. They don't care.
