I am writing to strongly urge the FTC to update the Rule to take into account the dramatic uptick in web-based target-marketing, in which tailored web ads, emails, phone calls, etc, are getting targeted to children (my own included), without parents' consent--based on sign-ins and TOS agreements at web-based stores, online games, and social networks. All of these advanced target-marketing techniques need to be addressed in a revised rule.
