In this day and age, children are growing up in an instant - society is rapidly taking away their childhood and replacing it with more "popular, mature" materials. Every way these children turn, they are bombarded with mature advertisements that include violence, sex, and other bad influences. On the same note, they are also being drained by the constant advertisements of the "latest and greatest - just got to have it" merchandise. This is a constant battle between media and parents. Parents should have the absolute right to how they raise their children in every aspect and corporations/media needs to respect that. Period. Let children be children and let the parents decide on what they want their children to be exposed to. If you are parents, wouldn't you agree?
