The reasonable basis should be updated so that is covers more items that are known to be difficult to clean. For example, acetates, sequins and beads. These types of items are often unable to sustain harsh dry cleaning processes. It would make sense to implement a new symbol to represent alternative solvents to perc and hydrocarbon. I use GreenEarth and would like to see a GreenEarth symbol on care labels because it is the gentlest method of cleaning. Wet cleaning should not be printed on labels with out the word professional.
