There are too many symbols to remember. I need written English for care instructions. When written English instructions are not available, I look up symbols on a "cheat sheet" that I keep in my laundry area - but not all symbols are on my sheet. I earned two masters degrees and have a successful career in a technical field, but I feel like an idiot when viewing care labels without written instructions. I can't even remember the Centigrade to Fahrenheit formula. Even a more complete chart of the symbols with written English equivalencies may not help much, because the number of symbols make finding the desired symbol difficult.
