Please, do not get rid of the care label law. If it is gone, manufacturers will no longer have to ensure their garments are serviceable by at least one method. This would put an unnecessary burden on dry cleaners. We would use our best professional opinion to choose the correct method to service but we could be wrong many times which would result in many paid claims by dry cleaners.
Add wet cleaning to care labels and address the comment "Exclusive of Trim" on many care labels especially when the trim is not removable.
