Since 1988 I have been in the Dry Cleaning business and have observed about everything regarding care labels. There is so much inconsistency with care labels in general. If clothes are to be sold in the USA there should be only one care label in "English".
The following should be required:
1. Fiber content.
2. Method of cleaning(wash and/or dry clean)(dry clean and/or wash).
3. Is this a specialty garment (beading, sequins, etc.).
4. Dry cleaning required.
5. Basic wash requirements (no chlorine bleach, warm iron, tumble dry medium.
