As a Director of Human Resources, who is continuously "cleaning" my email receipts due to unsolicited marketing proposals and sales; I applaude the Commission's diligence in passing the "Can-Spam" Act. Each morning as I started work, I had to clean out between 30 to 50 unsolicited email offerings for prescription medication, dating services, mortgage lenders, etc. Currently, between software spam catchers and the Act, this has been reduced, but not eliminated. Furthermore, I support the "opt-out" request reduction efforts and believe that this will further enhance the opportunity for more efficient operations of my personal business system as well as my home PC. Thank you for your perseverence and delivery of this important Act.
