I receive about 600-700 UNSOLICITED, sometimes obscene email spam messages a DAY that I should not get. These are often not even to my email account, but to some variation of it. These are not from vendors whom I do business with. I do not surf the web, nor do I do any kind of newsgroup posting. How these "spammers" get my email, or a version of it I don't know. However, they are often about credit reports (bogus), bank cards (again bogus), prescription medications, some form of porn, software sales, etc. I subscribe to various versions of spam tools, as well as rules to eliminate spam from my inbox. However, I continue to be inundated. There must be a way to eliminate this problem, and penalize the abusers.
