As written, the CAN-SPAM act did not lower the amount of spam received at my mail server or my inbox. Once again, the regulators and legislators totally miss the point. The problem is not the content. The problem is not determining if the unsolicited email is commercial or personal The problem is plainly and simply: the email is bulk and unsolicited. It should illegal ON THOSE GROUND ALONE. Unfortunately, the You CAN-SPAM Act says it is legal. Thus facilitating the spammers and exascerbating the problem. Please, get a clue. Look in your OWN inbox -- 80% spam I would guess, time to fix the ACT once and for all. Marty Roth
