It looks as though the Can-Spam Act is likely to be interpreted in a way that would make life extremely difficult for any affiliate who promotes affiliate products in a newsletter. It also makes life extremely difficult for affiliate merchants. In case the Act intends to promote generating more productive jobs, there are sure many ways to do it without hurting serious affiliates .
