Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 To the Commissioners, The bottom line: this will have grave consequences on our economy. I appreciate the goverments attempt to stem the tide of SPAM. But this is a extremely dangerous solution to the problem...Political correct solutions are short sighted. We need solutions that will be fair and will preserve the economic viability of our nation. If you want an example of what can happen when you cripple e-commerce just look at California...California problems wasn't the result of these type of regulations, but the net effect of the Dot.com debacle in like manner will have similar effect nationally if these regulations are implemented... In my opinion, this is literally an economic bomb. It will have a ruinous effect on the nation economically. Charles California, USA
