Come on! Hey, I know you're working hard on this and it's a complex issue, but please... Is the purpose of this legislation to stop unwanted spam from intrusive vendors with whom we-consumers have no prior relationship? Or to impede the healthy flow of business between consenting parties? Please don't try to constrain the nature of transactions between consenting buyers and sellers. Just get rid of the abusive spammers. They are rarely the legitimate merchants your legislation would encumber. Also, the proposed "SUPRESSION LISTS" are very unhealthy for honest business people. Spammers will ignore these requirements and honest merchants with multiple products will be burdened by bureaucratic regulation. Please folks create a solution that benefits consumers and respectful merchants. Do not let your good intentions create another layer of blight on healthy trade. Respectfully, Bob Miner Ashland, OR USA
