I think that on a larger scale we would like to stop getting emails from vendors that we are not interested. I constantly receive emails from companies that would help me make parts of my body larger, longer, harder, smaller and sometimes a combination of the these. Among other emails that will allow me to look and maybe even interact with women who will do nearly anything for money. The major issue here is the First Amendmant rights of every person. I know that people should be able to make money and I will encourage this and by sending emails such as those stated above is a very viable option to send out to a large group of people without spending a fortune to do so. I am an educated man with a college degree from Allegheny College. Even with my background, I was having a tough time understanding the "lawyer speak" that was trying to convey the idea of this act. But from what I gathered, anything other than those emails deamed to be private are going to be all commercial. If this is the case, I do not believe this is fair. And to be honest, I do not see a clear solution for any of this. The only idea that would work would not any legislation. This would be to have a more specific spam filter on your email address but would cost more money to the big businesses for more research and production of this. I believe that this ACT should be looked at further and maybe find another way to distinguish one "commercial" email from another. Until that time, I think I will keep deleting those body altering and peep showing emails and hope that better products are available in the future, but I do not want my government telling me what I should NOT see.
