Thank you for the efforts you have made to control unsolicited bulk email. Much progress has been made. I am concerned about the proposed requirement to maintain a suppression list,as the cost to do this may cause damage to business and consumers alike. The act (requirement) of distributing that list to other Advertisers,Marketers,etc can only add "fuel to the fire" so to speak,and get the SPAM really cooking..Pun,intended ! These list could have the potential of falling into the hands of the Spammers that the CAN-SPAM act was designed to put out of business. In all fairness and honesty this could very well put a lot of small businesses,out of business,because of cost. Please consider the damage these sorts of regulations will do to legitimate business and to the consumers that they serve. Thanks Again for your efforts Robert Sims Bridgeton,NJ USA
