Comments:
The proposed requirement for merchants to maintain suppression lists, and possibly even forward them on to their incidental business partners, will cause more problems than it will solve. I believe that it is a violation of the customer's trust to give contact information to a third party without specific consent. There are so many problems and costs associated with this idea, and so much damage done to consumers and businesses alike, that I feel I must urge you to consider dropping this requirement poste haste.
