Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 To the Commissioners, I appreciate your efforts to ccurb spam, but don't make the cure worse than the disease. Placing the requirements that are being suggested on the backs of small and legitimate businesses could severly impact our profitability. Having to maintain and submit suppressions lists would be a nightmare. Requiring small businesses that engage in on line activity and that send out email newsletters is crazy. I would urge you to reconsideration the proposed regualtion in light of its impact on small business. You're going down the wrong road and harming the very people your are trying to help.
