Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 To the Commissioners, The proposed requirement for merchants to maintain suppression lists for spam is EXCESSIVE. This is another example of government making the innocent pay for the actions of the guilty. These suppression lists could fall into the hands of spammers, leading to more spam instead of less!
