Suppression lists are very difficult to maintain. If a person has requested a business to send out an e newletter, etc that provides specific information there should be no action taken against the company. The person did not have to provide their name and email address to the company. This could cause harm to businesses who find it cost prohibitive to mail to their customers. It would also hamper international business. This proposal is not specific in addressing legitimate business practices.
