Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 To the Commissioners, The Way to Happiness Foundation International is a social benefit, non-profit corporation. Our Mission is to create a happier, more successful life for the individual so he or she can, in turn, create a happier family and a safer, less violent group, mankind and planet. I am concerned about the proposed requirement for merchants to maintain suppression lists. Our campaigns are volunteer-based. I just cannot imagine how we could ever execute this idea. We do GREAT work to better the lives of individuals and the general society and this will essentially put a stop to communication by our groups and volunteers. I must urge you to consider this matter most carefully. I was quite alarmed at the potential problems this ruling could involve, and urge you in the strongest possible terms to reconsider its implementation in light of these problems. I believe that legitimate non-profit organizations should be exempted. Respectfully, Dennis Schliewe Vice President The Way to Happiness Foundation International Los Angeles, CA. USA
