Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rulemaking, Project No. R411008 From what I've seen you're barking up the wrong tree. I understand you think you're trying to protect the consumer, and business owner. But in fact you're doing just the opposite. Has it EVER occurred to you that making more rules and laws is TOTALY USELESS? Do you think that the Real spamers are going to follow the rules? Are they following the rules NOW? Locks only keep out the Honest folks! In other words, new laws are not, now or ever, going to stop spam. There are 2 things that will stop spam. Both are very simple and would be very easy to implement. But then I doubt easy and simple would work for the ftc. So just keep making new laws, destroying businesses and making life miserable for all.
