Re: CAN-SPAM Act Rule making, Project No. R411008 To the Commissioners, I think the problem of unsolicited bulk email is no different from paper advertising being stuffed in your mail box. So why are you exersizing double standards? This is interfering with individual FREEDOM & choice? This is just another way for the FED to control. Spam is just the same as any other “in your face advertizing” - TV, Bill Boards, Flyers etc. Leave it for the people to deal with, not the government. The suppression lists could fall into the hands of professional spammers, leading to more spam instead of less and then the Fed will be interfering more with the freedom on the Internet.
