The subject line on most email is not clear enough to insure that the opt-out option can be trusted. If I opt-out on many messages, my name and email address are simply added to other lists, quickly multiplying my spam mail. If ISP mail servers were required to put a 2 second delay between each email, this would devistate the large bulk spammers. While the normal personal or business email would not even notice the delay. As long as email accounts respond to unsolicitated emails by accepting the product or service, spam will never go away. Never buy from anyone who send you unsolicited emails. Since the act went into effect, I have seen a significant increase in the number of spam messages I receive every day. Are we sure the act is being enforced?
