A.1.The Can-Spam Act makes emailing transactional messages very difficult for the Ezine or Newsletter publisher. Micro businesses are the backbone of the net, and encouraging them, not punishing them should be No.1 on the FTC agenda. 3.I have 3 times as much spam now, as before the Act! Spammers are not being affected, yet rules-following editors and publishers of micro businesses will be put out of business for any infraction, intentional or not. F.The implementation of a do not email list would be beyond most micro-businesses to keep up with. If we sell advertising for different clients, how would we even know who had opted out of certain company email. We are 3rd. or 4th. parties to the sender of the email, and the receiver. This option would cripple most if not all, micro businesses!
