I provide a free newsletter that has a double opt in for subscribers. If someone unsubscribes, it is handled immediately. However, I cannot help if someone forwards my newsletter to someone else, and think it would be very unfair to exclude my legitimate newsletter to legitimate opt-in subscribers to be considered spam. These individuals have agreed to accept my mailings, and I do not feel it would be in the best interest of my company for this kind of mailing to be scrutinized, nor do I feel like I should have to expose my subscriber list in any form on the notifications I send. I rely on this newsletter, even though it is free, as part of trying to build an online business. You will be crippling many home business owners if you choose to go this route.
