Spam to me is any, repeat any, unsolicited email which is with any iota of commercial purpose. All spam and commercial email of any sort should be charged at the same rate as a first class postage stamp. All spam or commercial email should be required to include a contact phone number which is toll free and which is manned with sufficient staff 24 hours 7 days a week All spam or commericial email should be required to include a legitimate name of a person to contact by toll free phone and/or postal mail. All spam or commericial email should include a simple opt out operation such as a mere click on an opt out box. Why should the person receiveing the spam have to go to any trouble to opt out from receiveing spam email? I strongly encourage our lawmakers to provied all citizens with the capability of being added to a list which will permit us to pot out of all commercial email and spam. I suggest that a format catagorey be established to be used as an inclusive part of one's email address that identifies them as an individual and not a businness or commercial entity. For example Gsmith@ind.aol.com. Any persons or establishments using the ind in their email address should be fined to the maximum. We American citizens have little or no confidence in our legislutator's ability to enact in a responsible way to protect us from the commercial and spam world. So many times in the past congress has buckled to the wishes of the lobbyist and businesses at the expense of the individual citizen. We are sick of loop holes in laws which should be simply written and strictly enforced. This time try to do something for the good and benefit of the American citizen. How can Congress not legislate a fee for every spam or commercial email? The spammers avoid paying postal rates by not sending mail via the postal service so charge the the postal rates for each spam email. Also we would like to be provided with the capability of forwarding any unsolicited email to a government location (email address) which will prohhibit the sender from repeating the offense withour costly penalty. Spam and commerccial email is the worst intrusion facing people who wish to enjoy their computers. STOP IT 11111
