A 1 Commercial e-mail = advertizements or attempts to sell/barter/trade or promote any product or service, unsolicited by the recipient of that e-mail. B 1 No advertisements or other banners should be attached to business mail. Do you want promotions attached to your bank account statement, water bill, electric bill etc.. If a service upgrade or other promotion is contemplated, a space on a previous business transaction could be marked to approve the ad with the next successive statement or transaction report. If approved by the sender, it could be for the next letter or for all future letters, with an opt out that would be initiated within 24 hours. C 1 In these days of immediate computer response within 24 hours, more than 24 hours is unacceptable. If the goods or services are responded to within 24 hours, then an opt out should be considered as any other positive transaction and carried out in 24 hours. D 1 Tracking information devices attached to any of the web sites or e-mails that are opened. E 1 If opted out, tracking devices at the sender/ origin of e-mail should be able to notify sender of opt out status.if Send to a friend, originator address should be attached as part of the send out-first line.
