I am in favor of a National do no email registry. It has worked on our home phone and I receive about 300 unsolicited spam emails daily between my 3 email accounts (since Can Spam has gone into affect). I've seen no difference in spam since 2004 began. Can Spam is not working!! Subject line does not represent what is in most emails. The person sending the email is not who actually sent the email - false names and combo's to make it look real. This is a serious issue and has almost crippled buisness email. I spend 15 minutes a day dealing with spam - and that is with an awesome filter! Even with the filter I have to look to see if my filter caught anything that I wanted to let through.
