I have noticed NO changes since the implementation of the Act, and do not feel that enough is being done to curb the flow of 'Spam'. I continue to receive spam emails from unknown senders - often containing 'dead' links - and when I reply to request removal of my details from the senders records, often receive error messages stating that the return address is unknown. I think that ALL spam email should contain an opt-out hyperlink, as well as the full postal address AND telephone number of the company responsible. I receive lots of 'spam' emails from senders who create email accounts with names very similar to my own email address. Finally, regarding 'Opt-Outs': I feel that I should be able to opt-out of a sender's list in exactly the same time as it takes to 'opt-in' (usually immediately).
