Spam has gotten much worse since opt out for telephone sales has been started. Many of the same messages reappear day after day even though they are always deleted. I am afraid to open most of these because of the fear of viruses. Senders are often disguised as legitamate institutions. I received a virus from a bogus mail which appeared to be from my service provider. Many of my friends have changed their e-mail addresses but that has not helped for more than a month. These illigitament people soon find a way to get to you. I 'm hearing of people canceling their internet service because they are sick of spam. I have obtained an old computer to use for e-mail in an effort to keep my regular machine safer.
