The "National Do Not Call Registry" has been an openly effective blessing for citizens of the U.S. I believe the creation of a "National Do Not Email Registry" will have the same benefit to all residents of the United States! When we watch free broadcast television, we should expect the broadcasters to have a means for earning income through paid advertising, but when we pay for a service, we as citizens have a right to expect that we receive only what we paid for, and not a deluge of unsolicited advertising.
