I sincerely hope that these regulations, when implemented, will prevent the "smut" spam that is currently finding it's way into my email. Perhaps these companies should have to revela how they obtained my email address so that the person providing addresses will be the one to be accountable under these regulations. I don't believe that an individual should have to close their email account in order to protect themselves from the hard core porn that is being sent, which is currently the only way to get rid of the problem. I do not visit por sites of any kind and I would really like to find out how they have obtained my address.
