SPAM is a national disgrace for quality and quantity. It makes the U.S. look like a very tacky, commercial country all over the world, and reflects poory on our country and it's citizens. Most internet users spend up to forty minutes daily attempting to delete (and remove address) This is a terrible waste of time for millions and, from my experience, doesn't seem to work. Advertisers should not be able to claim "freedom of speech"; let's go with "opt-in" as the Europeans have encouraged us. Since the January 1st law I have more SPAM than ever, and it keeps increasing daily. I can't imagine Americans in the 19th century putting up with such a nuisance! R. B. Palmer
