I'm grateful to see that SPAM e-mail is being seriously addressed. I consider it a violation of my civil right to privacy in my own home to be forced to deal with unwanted intrusions on my personal computer. Pop-up ads should be outlawed entirely!! One ad I continually get fills the whole screen so one cannot get out of it! What a pain! I know that regulation of the internet is daunting at best, but it would be nice to be free of this type of intrusion. (It's bad enough to have to put up with all the advertising on television and radio.) I would like to see a law where no one could send me e-mail without my permission first. Surely there's a way to do that. Thank you for letting me put in my "2 cents worth".
