I like the the idea of a Do Not Spam, or Do Not E-Mail Registry. It worked very well for Telemarketing. Before I signed up for it I was getting over a hunderd calls a week. After signing for it, I have received zero calls. I feel that those who supply information about violations od CAN-SPAM Act should be rewarded for their efforts. The CAN-SPAM Act will never work unless it is strictly enforced and carries sugnifficant penalties for those who break it. I, for one, would greatly appreciate NOT receiving those 50 + per day e-mails trying to sell me something, or to make me rich.
