Aggravated violations should also include use of a false email address for the sender and/or return address. I think that a National Do Not Email Registry is a good idea. It will give people the opportunity to have an email address at which they receive absolutely no spam. I think by offering rewards for violations of the CAN-SPAM act will help to eliminate spam much quicker because more people will have a good reason to report violations. As of now, I don't feel as though the CAN-SPAM Act has had much of an impact on spam. I'm still receiving about the same amount of spam each day. However, I am seeing more companies (whom I have subscriptions or requested information from) that have the CAN-SPAM notification.
