I have been an IBO for the past 12 yrs and have treated it as a hobby for most of that time. For the past 2 yrs. I have been actively building this, but am not where I want to be. This is not a reflection of the business, but more of my own challenges. Regarding the proposal for the 7 day waiting period - What does this really accomplish? People can request a refund should they change their mind (this did occur in my business and their money was refunded). What will most people do during this period to get the info they need??? Go to GOGGLE of course!!!! The dumping ground of all the disgruntled people! What are you, the FTC and QUIXTAR doing to address this????? Most new prospects make their decisions based on this info. In my opinion, we could provide them with all the info you're requesting and they still wouldn't believe it after going to that site - they would think we fabricated the info!! In regards to all the personal info you want us to divulge - noone is required to tell anyone how much they're making no matter where they work - especially in a sales industry. But is that what this is all about???? This is a business based on effort, guts, and consistency. If you apply all of these you will win. If you don't you won't. My showing someone what I make is no guarantee that they will make anything!!!! And what is the point of references??? That their are other people doing it?? Isn't the Better Business Bureau enough along with the FTC's endorsement? I would like to see you, the FTC, sponsor a site with factual data/material regarding all FTC approved direct selling businesses. This I believe is our biggest hurdle. So many people get excited about the possibilities with this business, people who really need it, for some it is their only hope only to go on to GOGGLE - get frightened and they're gone!!!! You want US to stand on our heads to validate this business and yet noone does anything about the trash that is plastered allover GOGGLE that SO affects our business!!
