Comments:
The Business Opportunity Rule which is being proposed would be extremely cumbersome to small businesses such as mine. The Shaklee opportunity is available to anyone for less than $20 and that membership/distributorship fee is fully refundable upon request. Why would an in-home opportunity where products are purchased and consumed with full refunds for any dissatisfied customer be subject to such archaic regulations? This ruling would totally cripple my business as I would be unable to recruit new partners without grueling paperwork and all-consuming red tape. I assume the Business Opportunity Rule is meant to keep people from being victimized by shady business deals but its a really bad idea for respectable companies like ours.
