I am writing in regards to the potential changes for homebased businesses that the FTC is propossing. The changes that are potentially going to be made will cause a huge hardship on the businesses. Homebased businesses have allowed mom's to stay home with their children, it has been a good supplement to current income. I don't know if all the research has been done as to the number of people this would affect. There are families that have been doing network marketing for generations. I personally started my business so I can eventually stay home and work from home rather than travel with my job as a nurse consultant. Network Marketing has allowed physically challenged people to make a living for themselves rather than being on County Medicaid, elderly people have also been able to have a business and not be worried about their retirement. Xango especially has had all races, ages, different countries involved with the business. Xango is a honest company and have made provisions to continue with the honest business that they have. Unfortunately the people that have been dishonest has caused you to take a look at the Network Marketing business. Wouldn't it make more sense to concentrate the time, effort and money on the people who have been fraudulant with their businesses rather than making the thousands that are doing everything correctly. Unfortunately our society basis decisions on the criminals and the good people are the ones that suffer the consequences. Find the fraudulant people, fine them a large sum of money(enough that it would cause them to become broke) and concentrate on ways that can prevent them from getting into business again. All should not suffer from the crooks of the world. There are alot of honest people and we do follow the rules and do things legally. Why take the chance of loosing a good business and your status in a community by being dishonest. The product that Xango distributes is wonderful and it has provided alot of people with great health benefits by drinking the juice. Benefits that medication will never be able to do, and it has no side effects because it is all natural. Please reconsider the changes. The 7 day waiting period would be detremental to the business. Network Marketing is a good business, it is the crooks that are making it look bad. Please reconsider. Thank you
